Il Dipartimento coordinerà il progetto DAPHnE

We are excited to announce that the Department of Enterprise Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata has been selected to coordinate DAPHnE, an Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation project dedicated to advancing Data Journalism and Data-informed Communication in the age of Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation.

Under the scientific coordination of Prof. Paola Vocca, the Department leads an international consortium of universities, media organisations, SMEs and research centres committed to developing innovative educational pathways that empower journalists, communicators and future professionals to work confidently and responsibly with data.

As Project Coordinator, the Department plays a central role in the scientific, technical and strategic development of DAPHnE. Its main responsibilities include:

• Overall project coordination and management;
• Design and development of the DAPHnE digital learning platform;
• Design, organisation and integration of the DAPHnE curriculum;
• Development of innovative educational resources combining Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Data Visualisation and Digital Communication.

By combining cutting-edge research with educational innovation, the Department of Enterprise Engineering contributes to preparing a new generation of professionals capable of analysing, interpreting and communicating data critically, ethically and effectively in an AI-driven society.
